| What to see & do : | Our B&B Casal da Eira, close to São Brás de Alportel, is an ideal place to stay if you want combine (sportive) activities with beach visits. The beautiful nature and the foothills of the Serra are ideal for hiking, horseriding and cycling. Several routes start just outside our B&B. The coast is nearby, the beaches are only a 25 minutes drive. The Algarve has a very beautiful coast with a variety of beaches. For long and wide beaches, Ria Formosa nature reserve in the east, has the best options. There are several parks in the area for kids like Aqualand, Atlantic Park , Zoomarine and Aqua Show water park. There are a number of good golf courses within a 20-30 kilometersâ radius. São Brás de Alportel is a mix of old and new, with both typical Algarve low white houses and grand merchant houses from its rich past, now complemented by modern apartments. In the center there are plenty of shops and supermarkets, banks, restaurants and cafés. On saterday there is a market. Do visit the saterday market in Loulé, a town within 10 minutes reach. Faro and the airport are nearby, only a 25 minutes drive. |
