Accomodation in a Traditional Romanian house in Transylvania

Come to Romania, in the heart of Transylvania; come to the Land of Shepards, to experience the Romanian traditional lifestyle. You will be accommodated in a double room with a private bathroom, and free internet access, in a wooden cabin of a rustic elegance. In this way you will have the chance to be connected to the outer world in case you will want or need to.

The area is well known for the ancient style of local people, for the beauty of the forests, clear and fresh air, as well as for the natural food. You will hear the caws mooing, sheep baaing and dogs barking, see horses running wild, but this is just a small part of your stay. This experience is recommended for those who want to experience the countryside way of living totally different from the villages of the western countries, for those who like a natural lifestyle without the extravagance of megacities. The magic garden full of flowers and wooden sculptures as well as the small river at the back of the yard will enchant your soul. This is the place to refill your body, mind and soul with tranquility and peace.

Each morning you will enjoy a breakfast with a wide range of local manufactured products– goat, buffalo, sheep and cow cheeses, either fresh goat or cow milk, tomatoes and cucumbers directly brought from the local farmers, as well as garlic and onion from the house’s vegetable garden. The breakfast will be completed with a wide variety of natural honey – pine, sun flower, rape, linden or acacia and natural jam made in the house. Fresh bread that contains potatoes will delight you as well. A wide spectrum of tea plants picked up from the fields around our location will contribute to your health.

This location is settled in the middle of Romania and gives you the opportunity to decide wherever you want to go in every direction.
There are many places to visit around, nearer or further from our location. Power places like Sarmisegetusa, that is 1 ½ hours far driving in the same direction is seen by the mystics as being one of the most important energy points on the Earth. Around Tilisca you can visit the Icons on Glass Museum, in Sibiel which is only 8 km away. For those who are not travelling by car, there are buses from and to Sibiu.
