| If you need to get to any point in the city or beyond quickly, you can take a taxi in Havana. This is the most convenient way of transportation. You can stop a taxi in the street, either an "almendrón" (old American cars) at a cost of 0.50 - 1.00 cuc, or an official taxi, at a higher price, or ask the local number 8555555 by phone. The "Cocotaxi" is an cheap way to get to any point of Havana: They are small yellow tricycles cars and almost discovered whose price is cheaper than the rest of the taxis and can be negotiated. It is a fun experience to be transported by a yellow Cocotaxi through Havana. In Old Havana or Centro Habana you can use bicitaxi, the cheapest way to go around Havana. For a tourist tour of Havana you can use the Havana TourBus two-storey bus very useful for visitors who arrive for the first time in Havana. For a price of 10 cuc the day, you can go down and get back up at any stop of your tour. There are also restored antique cars that offer tours to the city, starting from the National Capitol.
