Le Lavandou is located in the "Var", a French County, on the French Riviera, right before the « Massif des Maures ».
The city spreads over 12 km of Mediterranean coastline facing the Golden Isles (Levant, Port Cros and Porquerolles) and offers a beautiful natural setting, with over 12 km of sandy beaches and small coves where nature dominates. It is a Popular seaside resort from the "Côte d'Azur" area. The city earned several distinctions for its environment: the 1st Regional Sea Prize awarded by the Provence-Côte d’Azur Region in 2008, the ”Blue Flag of Europe" for: the management of its environment and water, its preservation of the coastal heritage, its safety and beach equipment. It also flies the ”Starfish Flag" for the quality of its bathing water.

The St-Clair beach (the 12 beaches of Lavandou)

The Villa Thalassa is located above the beautiful beach of St Clair. Pearl nestled at the foot of pine woods, the beach of St. Clair in Lavandou enjoys a special climate that makes it a special beach. Smaller than its voisine, La Grande Plage, it is more secret. Wonderfully well-exposed, the sun shines there at dawn pleasing those who love contemplating nature. In 2010, the French newspaper France Soir published a selection of the cleanest and nicest beaches of the French coast from Brittany to the Mediterranean, and the St-Clair beach was ranked first!

BY CAR :

40 mn from Toulon, 30 mn from Hyères les Palmiers, 45 mn from St-Tropez village, 1h45 from Nice and Marseille.

From Marseille/Toulon, travel to Hyères-les-Palmiers, then Le Lavandou. Follow the road D559 up to the century-old olive tree roundabout, take the exit ST-CLAIR. After 500 m, turn on to the Avenue Van Rysselberghe left from the St-Clair chapel. Go straight on Chemin de la Fouasse : after Chemin des Abeilles on your left, keep going on Chemin de la Fouasse, and after a steep left turn go up to a private lane ( Voie Privée sign on a tree) leading to Villa Thalassa’s gate.

From Nice, take the A8 direction Marseille/Toulon, then A57 direction Toulon/Hyères-les-Palmiers. In Hyères, follow Le Lavandou. Take the road D559 up to the century-old olive tree roundabout, then the exit ST-CLAIR. After 500 m, turn on to the Avenue Van Rysselberghe left from the St-Clair chapel. Have a rare and unique experience! Our Gipsy trailer is a true wooden cocoon surrounded by the scent of pine trees and eucalyptus, in a peaceful setting with a sea view. It is perfect to enjoy a pure moment of rest and timeless relaxation. For 2 guests. Our 14 sqm (150 sq feet) trailer features a Double bed (140x190 cm) with a 100 % organic latex and coconut mattress. This trailer is full of surprises! It has been equipped with a Finnish sauna, a shower and a sink, a mini fridge and a courtesy tray for hot drinks. A dry eco-toilet is available outside the trailer. Breakfast will be delivered to the trailer, or it will be served at the Villa Thalassa terrace or dining room, your choice . In order for you to travel light, we also provide pool towels.
