We are a small family-run B&B located in the beautiful village of Rowsley on the border of the Peak District National Park within just three miles of Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall and Bakewell, three of the areas best loved attractions. We have just three ensuite guest bedrooms and pride ourselves on providing guests with all the information they need to make the most of their stay in the beautiful Peak District. We have off-road parking and a full English/vegetarian breakfast is included in the price. All our guest rooms have TV/DVD players, free WiFi and hospitality trays stocked with biscuits and hot chocolate as well as tea and coffee. Our guest lounge is well stocked with guidebooks and walking maps to help guests decide where to go and how to get there! Why not walk from The Old Station House to the famous Chatsworth House - Britain's favourite stately home - along the Derwent Valley - it will take you just over an hour and will be one of the most beautiful walks you will ever take! Or you can take a ride on a Peak Rail steam train from Rowsley South to Matlock and walk through a series of parks to Matlock Bath where you can take a cable car ride up the Heights of Abraham. Haddon Hall has been described as the most perfect house to survive the Middle Ages -and its just two miles from us! The village pub is just around the corner from the house so after a rewarding day exploring your evening meal is close at hand! |
