Policies :	Cancellation It has been found that the nearer to an event a cancellation or alteration is received it is more difficult to re-let a room. This is because others who intend to be in town for an event have found accommodation already and those who have been disappointed, have given up looking for somewhere to stay. Our policy is intended to be fair to all concerned. Please do not reserve a room for more nights than you plan stay and seek to alter it later. Furthermore, we know that sometimes schedules change, however, please keep in mind that our hostel has only three bedrooms which are registered in the Regional Ministry of Tourism, hence fixed monthly taxes must be paid with or without occupancy. If you do not show up, or cancel last minute, this would result in a significant economic loss for us as well as unnecessary inconvenience for other customers. But we have heard it all and the following condition has been introduced because of the actions of a very few guests. We strongly suggest that you re-confirm your booking via telephone 72 hours prior to your arrival in Santiago de Cuba (e.g. calling from your country, your previous casa or accommodation in Cuba). If you fail to do so, we are sorry to say that your reservation will be cancelled.
