Firhall guest house is a beautiful Victorian home offering delightful four-star bed and breakfast accommodation in the historic Highland town of Grantown-on-Spey, in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park. Built in 1882 this historic house has been lovingly redeveloped whilst retaining many of its original, period features. This includes wood panelled windows, fireplaces and a striking staircase all of Scottish Pitch Pine. These features combine with the grand mouldings and splendid contemporary décor to provide a relaxing atmosphere and a perfect base for your Scottish adventure. A range of rooms are available sporting a fine selection of beds from our lovely walnut super king size bed in our Spey Room to the stunning four poster king size bed in our Findhorn Room and even a comfy mahogany sleigh bed in our Skye room. We also offer a super king or twin bed in our elegant Harris room. Each of our rooms has their own newly fitted private shower room featuring underfloor heating and heated towel rails as standard. Your comfort is very important to us at Firhall and with this in mind, we offer complimentary toiletries from the Scottish Fine Soap Company, a Tassimo coffee machine, kettle and flat screen TV all in your room too. There is a fridge in each room, with milk and fresh filtered water and homemade shortbread biscuits from our secret family recipe. Enjoy breakfast in our guest dining room with a selection of cereals, fruit juices, yoghurts. Our breakfast menu includes traditional cooked Scottish breakfasts and daily specials including; pancakes with blueberries and maple syrup, Speyside smoked salmon with scrambled eggs on muffins (with fresh eggs from our own Firhall hens) or cinnamon and baked apple brioche french toast. |

Cancellation : | Guests who book direct A valid credit/debit card is required to secure you booking and no payment will be taken until you check-out. If you book directly with us you agree to the following cancellation conditions. Cancellations or modifications to your original reservation made 14 or more days before your arrival will incur no additional charge. If the booking is cancelled less than 14 days before arrival, then a charge equal to 50% of the stay will be made. Policies : | Payment methods accepted: We have a secure chip and pin reader on site and we can accept payment by cash, Visa/Mastercard/credit and debit cards. We do not accept American Express or cheques. Children: We do not have the facilities to accept babies and children under the age of 16. We do not offer reduced rates for younger guests and do not offer additional beds in rooms. Pets: Pets are not allowed except for Assistance Dogs. Smoking Policy: Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the property, we also kindly ask that guests do not smoke in the front garden either. This includes e-cigarettes, ‘vape’ kits or any other form of alternative smoking apparatus. There is a designated smoking area, please ask for details. Anyone caught smoking anywhere inside the property will be charged a flat rate cleaning fee of £100.00 and any damages as laid out below where applicable. Tariff: We reserve the right to vary the tariff at any time. Rooms: Whilst we endeavour to provide you with the room of your choice, we reserve the right to change room allocation to a room of the same or higher standard if required. Damage of property: On the rare occasion when damage occurs, by negligence or a deliberate action taken by you or those in your party, which directly or indirectly causes loss to Firhall Highland bed and Breakfast, you agree to indemnify such losses, and that this forms part of the agreement at the time of booking. Losses may include but are not limited to; lost income, specialist expenses such as cleaning and decorating and the sourcing of alternative accommodation. Food: No hot food is permitted in your room at any time. A flat cleaning fee of £100 will be applied to your bill should this condition be broken. Luggage: For those guests who are staying at Firhall Highland Bed and Breakfast and leave their luggage with us please note you do so at your own risk. Firhall is not liable for any loss or damage. Car Parking: There are a number of complimentary spaces at Firhall and we invite you to park your vehicles should you wish. Please note that you do so at your own risk. Firhall is located just 20 minutes away from the popular resort town of Aviemore and the Cairngorm Mountain Range, making it perfectly situated for anyone wishing to cycle, walk, hike, kayak or drive around this stunning area. Grantown on Spey has a very interesting history which can be explored right here at the Grantown Museum which handily doubles as our Tourist Office.
