The property offers stunning views of the Pyrenees to the south and rolling hillsides to the north. We provide five individual guest rooms all with ensuite facilities and amenities normally only found in high quality hotels. Other guest facilities include a table d'hôtes, large guest lounge, DVD & book library, fabulous lookout sun terrace and a large rose filled garden with ponds and private areas. Are you ready for an unforgettable tour of the Cathar sights? Château de Montségur, Foix Castle, Lordat, Miglos, Roquefixade, Usson and Montaillou are all worth a visit to help better understand this religious movement that began in the 11th century. Located just 20 minutes away is EcoGolf Ariège-Pyrénées, designed by Michel Gayon It provides a surprisingly diverse 18 hole course combining both comfort and technique. With a full functioning clubhouse and restaurant, it makes for a great day out. Feeling under the weather? Ariège boasts numerous thermo-mineral springs including Aulus-les-Bains, Ussat-les-Bains Ax-les-Thermes. The mineral content of each thermal spa water is different and all 3 are within an hour's drive from us. Ariège has the most prehistoric caves of any department in France. Le Mas d'Azil, Lombrives, Niaux & the subterranean river of Labouiche (the longest navigable underground river in Europe) are all reachable in under 45 minutes. |
